Ben Hall: Masters of Grappling
29 Sep 2005
In his 37 + minute segment for Masters of Grappling, Ben breaks down
several detailed ways of escaping / countering the triangle choke,
including multiple angles etc.
Then, he goes on to show counters to each of the counters, again in a very detailed systematic manner. Very good instruction and very relevant for beginner, intermediate and advanced grapplers.
Following that, Ben goes through the De La Riva guard, showing a number of sweeps, their counters, and how to counter the common reactions. Awesome...
To top it off he shows another "sneaky way" of getting triangle when you wouldn't normally be able to pull it off.
After that we get a complete fight he had in Brazil (mundials?) where he taps his opponent with a triangle / armbar combination... very slick.
Again wanted to congratulate him on putting together such a well structured and detailed segment. Also thanks to Charles Choi for his excellent liason with me in making this possible.
Big raps for both guys from me...
